Your Gather Lunchbox can be used to transport your lunch or snacks just about anywhere.  Use it for work, school, play, tailgate parties, picnics or just about anywhere you need access to food.

Your Gather Lunchbox is made primarily of #5 virgin Polypropylene, which is considered a food-safe plastic. All materials used in the Gather lunchbox are BPA, phthalate and paraben-free.

Your Gather Lunchbox was conceived of, designed and made in the United States.  Gather is based in Oakland, California and when we initially came up with the idea for the Gather Lunchbox, it was important to us as a company to make our product in the United States. Our manufacturer is located in Union City, CA, just a few miles to the south of Oakland, CA.

At Gather, we are very environmentally conscious and are constantly looking for ways to help reduce our impact on the planet.  We created a lunchbox out of food-safe plastic that would eliminate the need for plastic baggies and other one-time-use products.  It is one of our primary goals as a company to help eliminate unnecessary waste.  As such, our products are minimally packaged.  When you receive your lunchbox, it will include a small insert card inside with use and care instructions.  The only packaging on the outside is a simple “belly band” wrapped around the midsection of the box.  Both items are fully recyclable.  Your Gather Lunchbox will be packaged in a corrugated box and wrapped in tissue paper, both of which are recyclable.  We do not use plastic peanuts or air-filled plastic pouches for shipping. 

Where possible, it is a priority for us to try to source our materials from like-minded companies and from companies that are women and/or minority owned.

A lot of design thought was put into the Gather Lunchbox to ensure that clean-up is as easy as possible.  The inner compartments have rounded corners so you won’t be left trying to get peanut butter out of 90 degree corners.  You can place the lid and base on the upper rack of a dishwasher, but the easiest way to clean it is by hand with some mild dish soap and a non-abrasive sponge.  A soft bottle brush is also fine to use to clean the interior compartments.  We don’t recommend cleaning with anything abrasive as the outside of the box has a high gloss finish and the inside of the box has a beautiful satin finish.

While your Gather Lunchbox has a perimeter gasket seal which should prevent most leaks from traveling outside the box, we do not recommend placing liquids in any of the compartments, unless they are sealed in individual containers.

Gather ships all orders internationally through DHL.  To begin an international order, please choose your country at checkout.  DHL will calculate the total cost of your order in U.S. dollars (including freight, taxes, and duties), and will handle payment and delivery of your order.

If you have purchased and received a product directly from www.gatheressentials.com and would like to return it, a refund can be issued within 30 days of purchase.  Returned items must be in perfect and unused condition or a refund cannot be given.
