The Gather lunch box was designed and made in the USA with the user in mind. There are five compartments inside, each with rounded corners for ease of cleaning. The lid easily detaches from the base and both pieces can be placed on the upper rack of a dishwasher. The lunchbox should never be used in a microwave oven. The box has a gasket around the inner edge of the lid for sealing, which should prevent most leakage. We do not recommend placing liquids in the box unless they are individually sealed. To properly close and seal the lunchbox, press down on the latch and with a thumb on either side, press and listen for the "click - click". The lunchbox is free of BPA, phthalates and parabens and measures 12" x 8" x 2".
