No Bake Energy Balls
Excerpted from “All Recipes.com” by Kayla Janis.
These energy balls pack just the right punch. They are calorie-dense, with just the right amount of sweetness. You can make them ahead of time and store them in an airtight container for up to a week in the refrigerator. The recipe takes about 5-10 minutes, plus chilling time, and makes about 20 balls.
Ingredients:
1 cup old-fashioned oats
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup ground flax seeds
½ cup chocolate chips
⅓ cup honey
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in a glass bowl, mix well, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Remove bowl from refrigerator and roll into balls or press into a parchment-lined pan to make into bars instead. Place balls or bars in an airtight container and store in refrigerator for up to a week.
